All silk products sold on Pothys.com are genuine and made by trusted artisans. Where applicable, Pothy's silk sarees carry appropriate authentication certification, such as the Silk Mark, to help customers confirm quality. Silk Mark is the government-assurance tag certifying the silk as 100% pure and natural, without any manipulation of its core quality. As a mark of authenticity and a mandate, we mention pure silk with a Silk Mark tag under the ‘Authenticity’ drop-down in our product description.
Privacy in Customer Data:
As part of the business process, we collect personal information, including the customer’s name, address, contact number, and email address. We store this information only if a customer ticks the dialog box stating ‘Save this information for next time.’ Additionally, with the customer’s permission—after selecting the box ‘I agree to receive order updates, notifications, and promotional messages via WhatsApp’—we may send emails about our business, new products, and other updates. Any pop-up notification related to marketing and saving personal information will be displayed on our website. All the information we receive from customers is obtained only after their consent. Apart from this, when a customer browses our site, we automatically receive the customer’s computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, which helps us understand the customer’s browser and operating system.
Safety in Every Transaction Made by Customers:
At Pothys.com, all transactions are processed through secure and industry-standard payment gateways. Pothys does not store any customer’s credit card or debit card details on its servers. Once the customer places an order and completes the payment, we receive only a transaction ID from the payment gateway providers. These payment gateways may securely store card and account details and ensure data privacy. We use highly secure, industry-standard payment gateways such as Razorpay (domestic) and PayPal (international), built with advanced encryption, PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, and fraud detection mechanisms to protect transactions.
Genuineness in Every Product We Sell:
Pothys always aims to ensure that every product arrives in great condition, and we hope customers are always happy with their purchase. In case the customer receives the product in a flawed or damaged condition, or if the product received does not match the website’s product description (counterfeit), please contact enquiry@pothys.com within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting evidence from the unboxing video. Upon verification of the unboxing video, we will review the issue and take the necessary action accordingly.
Easy Return for All Orders:
Customers can raise a return request directly from their orders window, which automatically sends an email to us. For any concerns or complaints related to products—such as damage, stains, size issues, or dissatisfaction—please email enquiry@pothys.com within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting evidence from the unboxing video. Upon verification of the unboxing video, we will review the issue and take the required action accordingly.
Easy Refund for All Orders:
In case of a refund, the amount will be credited back to the customer’s original payment method within 7–10 business days. We do not ask for the customer’s bank account details. In rare cases, if there is a difficulty in processing the refund to the source, we may request certain account details. Once the refund is completed, we ensure that this data is deleted and not disclosed to any external sources.
